Upcoming Events and Volunteer Opportunities
As part of its continued efforts, Starkey Cares is excited to roll out a series of fundraising events and volunteer opportunities designed to engage the community and raise much-needed support:
Haunted Garden Fundraiser – This October at Cunningham Park: A spooky evening of fun for all ages. Join us as we transform Cunningham into a haunted wonderland with games, treats, and scares around every corner.
Metropolitan Ministries Volunteer Day – This December: Join us for a day of giving back to our larger community as we assist Metropolitan Ministries in their mission to serve those experiencing hardship.
Starkey Cares Holiday Fundraiser – This December: Support Starkey Cares this holiday season and enjoy a fun-filled family event at our Holiday Fundraiser, including a photo with Santa!
Second Annual Charity Gala – Save the Date! February 7, 2026: Our signature fundraising event, the Starkey Cares Gala, will return next year, bringing our community together for a night of elegance, entertainment, and generosity.

This next chapter for Starkey Cares is an exciting one, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of our neighbors. We’re looking forward to expanding our outreach and creating even more opportunities for people to get involved.
Starkey Cares is proud to introduce the leadership team that will guide the organization’s future endeavors. Alison Connors has been appointed as president, Jessica Davis as vice president, Alicia Tait as secretary, and Tina Kealler as treasurer. In addition, we are grateful for the dedicated support of subdivision admin volunteers throughout the neighborhood and the Starkey Ranch Lifestyle team, who have been crucial in advancing our mission and extending our reach to every corner of the community. The collective passion and experience of all involved will be instrumental in shaping the direction of Starkey Cares and ensuring continued service to our community.

First Annual Starkey Cares Gala Raises More Than $50,000 for Individuals In Need
The Starkey Cares team would like to extend our deepest gratitude for the generous support for our First Annual Starkey Cares Charity Gala. The event raised a total of $50,930—a tremendous accomplishment that will directly benefit those in our community who are battling serious illnesses or facing hardship.
We are excited to share that these funds will be used to further our mission of supporting residents in need, as well as assisting individuals throughout the community and beyond who are facing challenging circumstances.
Additionally, we are proud to announce that the funds raised from our successful 50/50 raffle will be donated to our incredible community partner, One Community Now. This organization is doing vital work to support children, families, and veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, helping them improve their health and economic circumstances.
Together, we are creating a meaningful and lasting impact. We are truly grateful for the community's support, and we hope you will continue to stand with us as we work to uplift and empower those in need!
